The great depression is approaching ...

petrolprices.com: We can't take another 2p now!

I just hope that the election is called in March next year, when all these seeds will "bear " fruit. Any form of snap election will to this government's advantage. You can't hide GBH, your chickens are now comming home to roost.

More Tax is about the last thing we need, and Petrol (alcohol, etc) Tax is just adding more Tax to be Taxed again by VAT, etc. I vote for a completely new tax system, and abolish Income Tax completely, just use VAT at 150% on everything.

There is a high risk on a snap election.

There could be a problem within weeks (just at the wrong time).

The BoE and the Government Press Office will ensure that the impending problems are hidden from the general public until after the election..

Once GB is voted back into Number 10 the "Global economy" will have to take the blame for our economies short comings...

I think you're spot on soldinjune, on both counts. (And if you sold in June this year, well done).

But if King is pushed enough, he might just resign and speak his mind...
