Brand Republic: Labour calls general election ad pitch

The Labour Party has approached agencies to pitch for its advertising account in the run up to a general election. (It's a bit early to start doing this for a May election, so maybe it will be sooner.)

They are all ready ahead in the ad stake as I have seen many bill posters around us, telling us how good the caring new labour government are...

As the Tories have got such a 'wet lettuce' in charge, I wouldn't be surprised if Crash Gordon does go for an early election, before people start to realise how bad things are with UK plc.

I think it will be. And I fear the Tories are not ready for providing any serious challenge either........

The earlier they call the election, the more likely that private data indicates the economy is f....d.

Well what is coming to a town near you very soon ???? Repossessions hitting very high levels, business failures soaring, unemployment increaseing and the public sector getting more and more disgruntled. As far as Brown is concerned October 2007 or May 2008 (the latter with one last massive sweep of everything bad under the carpet) is probably the last boat out. As for 2009 and 2010 - not a nice era to live in especially if you are mortgaged to the hilt.
