House Prices Fall By £65 Per Day

The Birmingham Post: Average house price falls

More than £2,000 was knocked off the price of an average house in the Midlands last month amid growing signs of a property slowdown.

The value of the average property fell from £153,036 in June to £150,915 in July according to figures released by the Land Registry yesterday.

The region was one of only three areas which experienced a downturn last month and contributed to the lowest national increase for more than a year.
