BBC News: Halifax ups house price forecast
Halifax revises it's figures up by 2% over previous estimate for yearly HPI.

Actually I wouldn't put it past the Bank of England to put up rates by half a percent in August or September, and then a further quarter percent, if necessary, (which probably will be the case), in the run-up to Christmas.
