Telegraph: Pension funds rush to beat market crash
Pension scheme trustees are now rushing to sell their scheme before the equity markets follow the bond markets into collapse. A dramatic fall would cause pension deficits to widen again.Fears of a stock market crash have prompted dozens of British pension schemes to put themselves up for sale.
The bond markets went into meltdown last week, pushing yields on European and US government stocks to their highest levels in five years.
