Is this a bit strange when food inflation so high??
Channel 4 News: Asda & Tesco In Price War
So as food seems to be causing the CPI a problem, big business steps in to have a price war?

Knowing Tesco they'll drop the price and the quality will become even more dire . I won't shop there .

The costs of a Supermarket War are passed down to the suppliers.
Increased retail prices mean suppliers are increasing prices. Supermarkets respond with a ' war ' to force their supply chain to absorb the greatest proportion of cost increase.
