Inflation stalking the housing market

Independent: The fight for the world's food

If there is one thing that comes before paying the mortgage its putting food on the table, if as was reported last week the average family only has a weekly disposable income of £35 if won't take much unavoidable 'food inflation' to kill the housing market.

Yes, unless people are prepared to live on beans on toast day in and day out, which may not be welcome considering its environmental aspect i.e. certain type of atmospheric contamination it inevitably involves. This may well have some impact on the global warming as well.

The conflicts in the world are building and we haven't even gone into a downturn yet.

Yeh, didn't Chavez make a comment about a month ago that George Bush had announced the greater use of ethanol for energy in an attempt to raise corn prices & to wage war against the poor?
