inflation v deflation

Written in 2002, this is a good article examining Greenspan's options facing a k-winter. The key point is can the Fed create enough inflation to combat a deflationary depression. The author thinks this is unlikely. Well worth a read.

The truth is, those in debt tend to advocate inflation while those with savings tend to advocate deflation. After all critic tends to think in favor of the course of event that benefits him/her. Wishful thinkings. Ha ha ha.
