Soros: HPC will be global

CNBC: George Soros on Housing Prices June 2006

Televised interview with George Soros in June 2006. Sorry if this link has been posted already. I would not be surprised is Soros has recently made a mint short-selling subprime lenders and construction company stocks.

if you are gonna interview someone who has the brains that he has, at least they could find someone to ask a half decent question..... the key phrase in this interview is when he says that people 'are not sufficiently interested in the truth'.... this is what propels bubbles and feel-good factor.... a total denial of the facts on the ground!

Pretty sure I saw it before, but it never hurts to listen again to common sense. The question is why governments et al continue to bury their heads in the sand. Note that he never mentioned interest rates - the rapid HPI cannot go on forever and eventually people will stop feeling that they are getting richer througfh their home and will stop spending and start worrying about repaying all that debt - then the economy will crash, they will lose their job and then their home. Sad, but true.
