Return to Year 2000 Prices

YouTube: Housing Bubbles don't pop; they deflate slowly

This is a very nice summary of the situation facing the US Housing Market. .... and can be easily translated to the UK.

Nice and simple - I might even remember the main points for those dinner party conversations with BTL nutters.

Well worth a watch.

The recent programme broadcast on the Irish house price crash and subsequeent Irish research both posted this week on this site make it clear through referenced research that of the 40 OECD housing market bubbles studdied since the second world, non were followed by a slow down or soft landing. They were all followed by a crash, a natural crash. However, those involved in lending money who insist that everything is in order are either lying, not facing reality or did not see the end of the film(Titanic)
