Yahoo Finance: Countrywide sees healthy market by 2009

Countrywide expects the U.S. mortgage market to show improvement in the middle of 2008, and to be "very healthy" for the largest U.S. mortgage lender in 2009.

In other news, a spokefox for the Commission for Foxes decried the use of hen houses by farmers as outdated and unnecessary - calling them a pointless expense, since Foxes don't even eat hens these day, buying their vegetarian food at Waitrose since most foxes now live in cities. Mr Fox said that farmers should leave the hens to roam free at night. He predicted a massive increase in hen safety.

Yeah right - are these the same people that said house prices would only ever go upwards. It's a bit like Tony Blair - why should we ever believe a single word that comes out of their mouths seeing as they have lied so much in the past. Looks like the VI spin machine hasn't been consigned to the scrap heap yet and probably never will where money is concerned.
