The latest housing market survey by the NAEA recorded the average house price for February as £213,259, having fallen from January's average of £217,955.

With three interest rate rises finally having a substantial impact on house prices the number of registered buyers is also on the wane - over February their numbers fell to 345 from January's figure of 367.
