Something to do when bored:

Take a walk around the City of London (if you happen to live near).

Pick some of the busiest office streets.

Walk for an hour.

Count the amount of square footage that you can tell is for is for let or empty because of the big signs outside.

Extend your trip into Mayfair (hedge fund land) if you want some additional entertainment.

Anything that reduces the amount of property sat empty has to be a help even if it is only commercial properties in this case.
