Child Poverty Linked to Housing Costs
BBC News: More UK children live in poverty
Interesting article that subtly links child poverty to income after housing costs and charts it's recent rise with 3.6 million children living in relative poverty in the UK.

Interesting article.
One thought: I often find myself wishing for the advent of a HP correction which brings down greed
to benefit those with little or nothing.
Sad thruth is they are the ones who would suffer the most. Another thought: with moral principles disintegrating to be replaced by achievement targets, families breakdowns find people who struggle to cope financially having to fork out on crippling rent bills, financing BTLers and perpetuating the vicious circle of HPIs.
The most likely victims of this situation will be children. I ain't voting for you Tony nor for the other muppet.

Magnifico, I strongly recommend you watch the series Dark Angel made by James Cameron. Although the series itself is about an escaped bunch of kids that were training to be supersoldiers, it is based in an American future that is in a severe depression. It is shown that although everyone has less, nobody actually feels depressed. Everyone is closer because they need each other and so on. And on top of that, there are some good fighting scenes and plots.
