It seems that the American investing public is finally waking up to the fact that you can't have a housing slump without the whole economy feeling the pain.

I wonder if there is a connection with HBOS because the share price has had the biggest drop on the FTSE 100 today. I think I will move most of my cash away from the Halifax just to be on the safe side.
