converted lurker, more houses will not cause HPC as there is more than enough liquidity to soak up any extra housing stock built. What we need is higher IR, i.e., lower liquidity. Oh, and the other thing we need is decent environment - which means not handing it over to greedy developers to cover with wimpy homes and tarmac. How many homes are unoccupied in the UK at the moment? More than enough to cover demand.

I'll take all the factors you mention and plenty of development (over-development) thanks...Developers begging FTBs to take their starter homes at knock down prices works for me ;¬)
