The additional info graph is interesting:
Income need to buy a median house price in the area = $83,500
Incomes
Teacher = $46,000
Firefighter = $37,000
Nurse = $57,000
Police = $45,000

I guess that unlike the rest of the States Florida is a bit stuck for building land, with prices being elevated by Baby Boomers retiring somewhere warm, holiday lets and other touristy things.
