BBC News: Further fall in UK unemployment

Unemployment in the UK fell by 29,000 between September and November to 1.67 million, official figures have shown.

I'd be interested to know if the goverment hired more people during this period. Maybe they are mostly nurses getting kicked out of the NHS.

I would be more interested in the job creation rate rather than the rate at which are not claiming unemployment benefit, much harder to fudge the first-the second is a joke when 5 million people of working age in this country dont work-but strangely not all claim unemployment benefit
