£9.8bn lent in mortgages in Nov !!

BBC News: Mortgage deals near 3-year high

UK mortgage approvals have climbed to their highest level in almost 3 years, BoE figures show.

It's totally off-topic, but look at BBC's news web page, could be business I think, "House price growth eases off" and "House prices get year end boost" - BOTH ON THE SAME PAGE!!!!!!

Anyone know how to pull off a really good mortgage fraud. I know. Buy a place (sh1ThOlE), paint it, get it revalued (bent agent), MEW to 125%, convert to cash, now bugger off. The new FLYING SQUAD.

To rob a bank before you needed the follow equipment - Ski mask, gloves, sawn-off shot gun (not necessarily loaded), angry sounding loud voice
Now you need - pen, loan application form, IVA application form, pen.

Who says violent crime hasn't decreased under New Labour?
