Further proof - if any were needed - that the standard of journalism at the BBC is dire, and their 'surveys' or 'facts' or 'evidence' need to be taken with a serious pinch of salt.

According to this BBC survey I think the facts give clear evidence that HPC has started in 2007.

Brown was 97 out of 100.
No doubt the positions were are follows:

95 Ewoks - http://www.cinemascope.gr/starwars/encyclopedia/images/ewoks.jpg
96 Dobby (House elf in Harry Potter) - http://harrypotter.iglu.cz/pics/dobby/dobby4.jpg
97 Gordon "Chubby" Brown - http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e217/Bebopman/turd.jpg
98 John Merrick (Elephant Man) - http://www.nurple.com/modelkits/images/Elephant-Man-Model-Kit-2.jpg
99 Alien - http://www.gremlins.com/mark_shears/alien.jpg
100 A Turd - http://www.alsoftware.com.br/adrianpage/parodius/manual/turd.gif

The votes were from New Woman magazine. Nothing like a bit of rediculous PR to create some free advertising on the BBC.
If it wasn't for the fact of voting in Dobby before Brown I would have said that the readership of New Woman lacked any semblance of taste.

I am not surprised Gordon is in the list - If I had to name 30 let alone 100 famous (living) men then I would guess I would name him, along with several other MP's - the fact that he is at the bottom of the list to me says that he looks like a No 97 in the previous posting.

Must be the fame and power thing that many women find attractive. I mean Prescott, Blunket and Lembit aren't exactly god's gift but seem to have no problem 'pulling'. Anybody fancy a Cheeky Girl?!!

Now, back to HPC.

Alas this once great nation is reduced to debating how sexy the Chancellor is. I suspect this is merely positive spin to sex up his image prior to him taking over the reigns of power, opps sorry, the reigns of spin.

Alternative, it proves that after years of "Education, Education, Education" the British public is, on mass, a bunch of fcuk-wits. This would explain lots including why the deluded public believes high house prices is a good thing.

as p. o. o. r said it's not really suprising, it just shows that the media/celebrity driven world we live in, promotes just a few select people to exploit it in what ever way they want.
