UK tax burden to rise for next 50 years
The Scotsman: UK faces rising tax for next 50 years
UK Treasury projections are that the tax burden on the UK population will rise continually as a percentage of income for the next 50 years. Couple this with people having to work longer both in years and hours per week, save for their own pensions and pay more for
somewhere to live and something has to give.
