BBC: US aims to relaunch dollar coin
Like: surely a dollar coin would be worth more on the scrap metal market - and, I don't fancy pushing a wheelbarrow full of those to the supermarket for a loaf of bread!

Why is this a joke. It will save them half a billion dollars a year and will save a few thousand trees a year. Very good idea. Nothing to do with house prices or the economy though.
