Instead of trying to find new ways of how parents can help their children onto the property ladder it might be a good idea to protect their offspring from a massive financial commitment in the first place.
Won't parents also need to hold back their savings for retirement and private care?
Or will their children have to support them in 20 years time?
Better be patient (and wait for lower houseprices!) than sorry.
