Home.co.uk News: That £1bn will do nicely - thank you homebuyers
Homebuyers topped up the Treasury’s coffers to the tune of one billion pounds in the three months between April and June, according to a report out this week.
The total stamp duty paid by homebuyers in quarter two was nearly 30% up on the period between January and March, said the Portman Building Society.
What a fiddle!
