I once had a surfboard taken off me on Bondi beach by a man called bigwavedave - the hire shop girl just replied "oh bigwavedav's back? Bonza!" (or something similarly silly). I do hope that's not you.
If it is, I want my longboard back.

Paul - not me mate, although I do have a lovely 9ft longboard (made in Swansea). I made the mistake of lending it to a mate while I was overseas a couple of years ago. When I got it back, it was covered in dings. Very, very annoying. As it happens, my mate is an Aussie... so there must some lesson to be learned by us both about about not letting Aussies near our surfboards. They are clearly not to be trusted!
