Redrow slash prices in order to achieve similar levels of sales

Seems to be a nice flood of news at the minute. We had this a few months back and then came the 'Mini-boom', I am not getting my hopes up this time...

I think there is every reason to get your hopes up. For years prices went up, up, up and only up.
Then there was a period where they weren't going up (to you and me this is 'the top')
There was a period of choppiness (to VIs this is a mini boom)
And now we see prices starting to fall (to the VIs this will mean amazing gains in affordability heralding a return to the market of a flood of FTBs and predictions that prices will quadruple in the following 2 weeks)
Really - look at the graph on the left and circle the mini-boom. Not exactly worth writing home about is it?
