People are comfortable with amount of their debt
SKY News: No Frowns Over Debts
Most people feel comfortable with the amount of debt they have taken on. And only a fifth expect their borrowings to increase further, says credit monitoring service CreditExpert. Around 76% of consumers said they were comfortable with their debts, 1% more than in January this year, the company said.

Highly unlikely many of these people have a true idea how much they owe and in any case answers to surveys like this are unlikely to tell you much-if a stranger approaches you in the street and asks about your debts you are hardly likelty to admit to being completely out of your depth.

This is just an advertising plug masquerading as a story - Sky should know better than to run this.

Hmmmm ... this suggests that 1 in 4 people are not happy with their level of debt. Maybe this is a simplistic assumption, but if these results are interpolated in terms of the whole population - well those over 18 anyway - then this survey would suggest more than 10 million people are unhappy with their level of debt - worrying times.

Of course they are they are happly borrowing their way out of debt!
MORE than 23,000 people were made insolvent in the first three months of the year – a massive 73% increase on the same period in 2005.
The figure was made up of 15,389 bankruptcies, up by 51.2%, and 7,961 Individual Voluntary Arrangements – triple the number recorded in quarter one 2005
