Oops, that should be 'knuckle', not 'knucke'. Sorry.

I complained to the Halifax when they charged me £175 to repay my mortgage. Three years earlier this fee was only £50. I requested the £125 difference be refunded.
I have just received an offer to refund the full £175 fee.
My advice to anyone who has STR and been charged these ridiculous fees is to complain - however don't expect a refund from your first letter it took me four letters to get there - well worth the price of 4 first class stamps however!!
