I think pricing by Square metre is a great idea. Much better than "number of bedrooms". In The Netherlands and Germany houses are all sold by the sq m internal space, sq m plot size and internal volume. With these it is very easy to compare (on the websites) what you get for your money and can assist in helping decide whether the "view" really is worth the extra 20% over the market average for that size house.

In this regard the UK is miles behind Europe.
