The Treasury Select Committee is to launch an inquiry into the way Gordon Brown, the chancellor, selects members of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee.

It can hardly be a surprise that new Labour would wish to promote Americans to senior positions within the British Banking System, after all, it is already wholely own by our collonial masters anyway.
New Labours bizzare and often humiliating love affair with all things American, has surely already done enough damage to our Nation.
We are not American Gordon, and have no wish to become so.
