BBC news: Rebel MPs in bid to topple Blair

Upto 50 Labour MP's have signed a letter demanding that Tony Blair outlines a timetable for his departure.

When a minister becomes the news, rather than the agent of it, his days are usually numbered.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Blair aspires to outreign Mrs T. - but to do that he has to stay in office until late November next year.

I'd say his chances are minimal!
