Mr Rose
Apparently Elliots the 4 branch Norwich based estate & lettings agents have gone bust yesterday according to one of my sources.

Elliots - one of the best EA in Norfolk for ramping up prices , loved by vendors, loathed by bargain hunters.

There demise will be a sad loss to Mrs Robin B'stard as the bunce made via Elliotts will no longer fund shiny new toys for her as in the past.

Yes please - keep us updated on how they settle up and pass away to the seventh circle of hell like the rest of us will in the end.

Catflap posted the news link here - says that the sales portfolio is going to Wm H Brown. The lettings had already been palmed off onto JSM earlier in the year.

I'm presuming there will be a difference in the standard of care given to vendors between the 2 EAs? Although Wm H Brown are much better at advertising in the rag than Elliotts ever were - and I'm guessing as a vendor advertisements is a clear sign that you're making an effort to sell stuff.

Hi W&S

That could be handy to know becuase I need to take Elliots to court for failing to handle my deposit properly and thus an illegal eviction just before Xmas, but if they have gone bust I wonder if JSM have taken on all the liability for Elliots?

Does anyone know how I can find out? I suppose a letter to JSM wont go amiss asking them for details of the sale.

Cheers
