When we last had a major recession in the 90's what happened to NHS spending did it decline over that period or was the spending pretty stable?
Will the govt be able to keep up it's current spending plans in this current downturn?
I'm currently arguing with someone and my gut feeling is that govt will quitely pull spending on projects that haven't yet started in an effort to tray and save money so I was wondering what happened in the last economic downturn.
