I'm not from the area but I have heard news of a very large development in Leven, Fife (opposite the Diageo bottling plant) where the builders have packed up and gone home, abandoning the part-finished site.
This is a development of hundreds of new homes, many are finished and sold but the developer has thrown in the towel now. The writing is clearly on the wall.
