I thought we needed a new thread so here it is - properties that were put on the market over a year ago and still havn't sold. The current crop were all listed before the run on Northern Rock happened and were valued at the peak of the housing market. They are still for sale and the price history is all there to be seen and yet some of the cuts in price are unbelievable given the current state of the financial markets and the on-going credit crunch.

Some of these properties are empty and must be costing their owners thousands in mortgage fees or lost interest in a bank/building society (an opportunity cost). Others are new-builds that are not shifting and quite a few have had price reductions of just 1% since they were first listed over a year ago!. Feel free to add your own or an area....

Yeah, I've omitted any like that as something odd is happening and it was once mentioned on the main forum about these. There's a reason for it somewhere, possibly when a property is being advertised with several agencies at the same time generating many more entries - I don't think PropertySnake scrapes data from a single source anymore like it used to do with Rightmove (before they stopped them using 'their' data).
