Various searches on comparison websites suggest that the Derbyshire BS offer the best rate of interest on a monthly interest account (5.24% net). I am currently with A+L esaver (5.05% net) and I am a bit worried about their exposure to sub prime. Does anyone know if the Derbyshire is a good bet? I'm assuming that because they are a mutual they will be pretty bomb proof?

Derbyshire had a sub company called SALT specialising in Sub Prime and BTL,they seem to have sidelined it since the credit crunch started, but they do have liabilities within it.
