Speaking to a friend yesterday who is involved in the conveyancing for ex-council houses (eg right to buy)
he says the they haven't had one go through in the last two months.

They normally run at about 10 a week. (Large South Wales Council)
It started with applications going in and then being withdrawn because of the mortgage had fallen through, but now even the applications have stopped!

Is there is no money being lent anymore?
