Slightly O/T I remember a tonight programme that had 3 panel members who gave there predictions of where house prices would be in 18 months time, I think Phil Spencer was one of them and the presenter was the most bearish. Does anyone remember this? Must be close to 18 months ago.

Good luck FP, not that you need it these days, the facts speak for themselves.
If you can get official confirmation from the halifax that the unadjusted figures are indeed what rickybruce gleaned from them (£181,765 as the unadjusted figure for June), it might be worth mentioning that these figures actually show a
larger drop from May to June than April to May, not a smaller one, but that these figures have been massaged to make it look as though they are better.
I will be glued if only to see poor old Ms Bien squirm and cling on the sound fundamentals of 2 years ago.

I would imagine that any expenses would be irrelevant compared to the free, National Prime TV introducion of Johnathan Davis of.
Armstrong Davis - Chartered Financial Planners It appears that weekly FP is on the box and for someone being proved correct in his many predictions etc. If you wanted to deal with a firm of Chartered Financial Planners then surely you would be more inclined to work with someone who comes across very informed and factually correct in what he/they say.
And Housepricecrash.co.uk often gets a good mention. Hurrah

Good luck - when you think of the number of people nationally who have had a chance to hear the truth thanks to FP's efforts, one has to conclude he is becoming one of the main commentators on this issue - very rapidly the interviews seem to be growing. That's because he, along with Vince Cable, talks sense, pretty much lone voices against a wall of VI spin-meisters and hand-wringing economists.
Well done FP

Agreed. This is really starting to get my goat...BBC news did it today and didn't mention high prices ONCE. Just had an EA bleating about getting banks lending (irresponsibly) again (ie: re-inflate the bubble, please). But then it's the BBC, so what do you expect.

FP that was absolutely top stuff. I loved and "Gordon Brown had better get his trowel out" quote and good on you for mentioning the role that banks have to play in all of this as well. I'm reminded a little of some of Peter Schiff's interviews where 6 months ago he was coming onto news programs as the looney for everybody to scoff at and now everybody's ended up agreeing with him.
One question though. How come there was no mention of www.housepricecrash.co.uk? On other interviews I've seen you mentioned as a spokesperson for this website so why did that not come up?
Fantastic interview though.

Brilliant.
IIRC They actually gave the real 8.7% (?) YOY drops rather than the 'offical' released HBOS 'smoothed' ones.
Also we had one of the UK's largest estate agents saying prices were going to drop by 25% over the next 2 years - giving a rough drop of 35% in real terms. This is over the next 2 years only. This was from an estate agent. This was sandwiched by 2 other predictions of nominal falls of between 35-40%.

That's quite a change in expert sentiment. Though I suppose unless you are totally deluded (Brown, Assetz guy) it would be hard to deny what's actually happening.
FP good again. The other guy got to deal with the supply question and the 3m houses that aren't going to be built. That 'myth' does annoy me.
Poles (immigrants) going home... should ease pressure on housing and services - a plus.
Though as FP said, it looks like it's going to be grim.
BTW the

Nice one FP, nice to see some VI's not only eat humble pie but, pretty much agree with you, and nice John Snow nailed em for it! JUSTICE! Given their last predictions there clearly been alot of back peddeling on the others behalf since March.
Also noticed you now get introduced as a financial planner, instead of the guy that owns the website HPC, given some of the more celestial posts of late, you have more credibilty for being a FP than a man that frequents the house of libra round the 6th of June etc (Regular posters will get my gyst), clearly you are a Libra
Can't wait for the next time you meet Declan because you really should rub that so called experts nose in it, via some sly comment at the end of the interview. How are your BTL investments doing Declan?
Oh and one request if you ever get a spot on the same show as Kirsty make sure you pass her a hat, even if off camera, just let her know all those doom mongers at HPC are thinking of her and will not forget how many sheeple she dragged down on her bad advice.
