Hi,

I am new on here, so hopefully I am asking a question that can be answered on here,

I purchased a 1.5 acre building plot in Bulgaria nr Bourgas 2 years ago for £7200, however the problem that I face now is that I need to pay off some debt and am wondering whether to sell the land to cover it.

Would this be unwise as what are the likely annual rises in land prices in Bulgaria, just wondering what your opions on this would be?

many thanks for your time rolleyes.gif

I believe the boom in Bulgaria, and in particular on the coast is running out of steam, put mildly.

I don't think it'll be worth more next year than it is at present, to put it that way.

Let me do the maths...

That's about 6000 sq m. If you got that for £7200 then that sounds really cheap. If it does have building rights then it's probably worth more than that. Of course it all depends upon the area and the local facilities etc.

Have you done any web research to find out what it is worth now?

Have tried to research but have found that land of the same size is a lot cheaper! anyone konw of any good sites in which I can research further? the area is upcoming Sredetds, its 35km from Bourgas so it is inland, I think finding a buyer would be a problem but you never know!
