As an expatriate UK citizen, I am looking for an offshore bank account in to which I can send part of my overseas salary. I currently have an account with Bradford and Bingley in Isle of Man. Is this a safe bank or should I be looking to change my bank.

I wouldn't call a B&B account safe.

My preference is Switzerland, even the Nazis didn't invade them. They have vast amounts of gold buried under those mountains, guarded by goblins no less. Have you ever met a Swiss, I doubt they even have a word for civil disobedience.
