David Burr, one of the stuck up snob agencies in west Suffolk are clearly running out of ideas.

Their most recent wheeze was to advertise a load of 'no onward chain' properties in the local rag, with an open day, a deadline for offers and an 'offers in excess of' price tag.

Not one of them sold.

Same house, different price.

The moral of the story? Just say 'no' when agents start behaving strangely.

i was reading the bury free press last week and i am sure david burr has been bought out? looks like he has had enough.

I think you're probably thinking of James Hogg. Shires took over his portfolio, but paid nothing (or very little) as far as I am aware.

I'd love to see Burr bite the dust. Some of the drivel he contributes to the RICs survey beggars belief. Stuff like 'there's plenty of equity to sustain the market'.
