So much for Scotland will be less affected by the HPC, found my first (less than) half-price property today in Falkirk.

For crash trackers in Scotland, the Wilson's Auctions site looks like one to watch.

Have you seen the latest GSPC? I actually checked I hadn't picked two up by mistake, as it was so thick.

City centre stuff is far cheaper now than it was last year, with some very nice two bedroom flats, sandstone, Renfield St way, for £120k etc.

The new build crap can be found for 70/80k, with lots of adverts saying 'marketed for less than the builders price'.

As for the West End, I've never seen so many up for sale, and they are just not shifting. Even houses near the genuinely much sought after Jordanhill.

I'm giving it a few months, let it really bottom, and then look at getting a nice, cheap, sandstone city centre crash pad for the weekends for the wife and I.
