Just read that property prices have increased in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia by up to 50% in the last year and that Bulgarian banks are starting to lend more and more, even to foreigners. Even if bubble wasn't bound to burst just like all other bubbles, I wouldn't touch Bulgaria with a ten foot bog-brush. Seriously dodgy - corruption both massive and rife.

I would disagree; Sofia is an excellent opportunity as it is still very early in the growth process. As long as you buy through a reputable developer and use a decent lawyer you will be ok. Bulgaria isnt as bad as the scare mongers wish us to believe. Next you will tell me that father christmas actually exists?
