I have been looking at Portfolio's website and came across their presentation on depositing £2,500 in a Gifted Deposit Scheme.

Does anyone know if what they are proposing is legitimate?

Or is this a scam?

I would be interested to know if anyone has had any dealings with Portfolio in Manchester.

Since noone viewing this post was able to answer my questions I looked into this myself.

For those of you who are viewing out of interest the Gifted Deposit Scheme from Portfolio has been put on hold. They say because they can't make the figures work. Meaning that if you purchase a BMV property for a flat rate of £2,500 (incl of all legal costs etc) the present interest rates are too prohibitive to make it workable. Whatever that may mean!
