Rough RoT - 5% of the cost of the property. Depends on whether it has restricted access, whether freehold etc.

Rightmove has 7%+ drops for December. That's a lot.
Stuff for sale for ages. No doubt. Taking a long time for under offer boards to appear.

Here's a stat for you - SW18 unsold properties out of properties listed.
Aug 27, 2007 - 632 unsold out of 1266 - 50% Nov 1, 2007 - 784 unsold out of 1241 - 63% Jan 11, 2008 - 786 unsold out of 1111 - 71%
SW12 and CR0 (Croydon) have also broken the 70% unsold barrier this week.

V. interesting.
Purely anecdotal but stuff definintely sticking around for longer.
Asking prices pretty much at spring 2007 levels - no return to 2005 just yet, particularly for nice houses.
Credit contraction should change all that.

Looks like Wandsworth property is holding up OK.
Zoopla has SW18 house prices down only 2% in last 12 months, although seems more optimistic than my property. Have seen neighbours cutting asking prices and sales falling through due to gazundering.
More falls to come once transactions actually come through or is the fall overhyped?

I believe that people on here have found Zoopla to be very inaccurate
