I am going to Florida next week with the intention to purchase a town home or condo in one for the following four locations - Regal Palms, Terre Verde, Terrace Ridge or Siesta Key. Could anybody give me good or bad advice about the rental potential, investment value and even mangement companies!

Save yourself the trip and just stick your money in a big sack and burn it instead. Much easier.

Because the US market is in freefall. Is that not a good enough reason?
Add in the weakening dollar.
Read the FT. It says that the US market is 1/2 way through its correction. You need to wait a minimum of 18months for it to bottom out.
