When I started to post about North Cyprus,I was ignorant as to the seriousness of the divisions that exist between North and South. I visited the North and looked at the situation from one side.

I took sides on this Forum, without doing enough research into the situation.

I upset peoples feelings said some bad things ,and for that I humbly appologise.

I met with a chap from South Cyprus this afternoon and he gave a better insight into the complexities of the situation.I had no idea that as an outsider
I was being so bias.

This will be my last post on any subject here...Lesson learned the hard way.

Red,you are right.I now realise how I came across to you,and undertand and accept your comments 100%.

Good-bye and sorry

bdon
lessons learned.... don't click on google adverts on HPC.CO.UK and speak to people who live in places where you aspire to be.

Nothing wrong with admiting your property mistakes.

I nearly bought a flat in Budapest in 2006 at 25% more than the local price. Managed to get my £2k initial deposit back after getting home and seeing the local price!

Just goes to show that you need too do a lot of research before buying abroad.

Anyone else willing to admit their mistakes???

research is so important to avoid costly mistakes. taking the time to research and learn about the market in whatever area you are looking to invest is well worth the effort.

No need to quit - few on any forum are ever big enough to apologise like you have done.

Stick around!
