if you bank with them then (first direct) you might have recieved a letter this morning saying that from Nov 1st, they will no longer pay credit interest on current accounts...tossers.

Halifax do 6.17% on balances up to £2500.
Abbey do 8.00% on balances up to £2500 for 12 months when you switch from another provider.
Any other good deals people have noticed?
