Sentiment must be changing as I'm starting to hear of possible price falls in the news - bear food for sure.

Very impressed with that! That guy put forward his arguement well, and came across very confident and professional. Gave the impression he really knew what he was talking about and the news reader looked like he wasnt doubting anything he said.
Just need him on the BBC next!

At last, some balance on the mainstream media. This view is shared by a lot of people as we can see from the viewer numbers on this site, but its not been represented in the mainstream. While I don't agree with all of this, its something that deserves airing.
Personally I still think that much of what Jonathan is saying is theory and not fact, but we will know soon enough, as the theory is going to be tested.
Specifically, I don't believe that there is hard evidence that more BTL's are selling than buying which was implied if not explicitly stated.
Sky seems to be the only outlet that has exposed the Rightmove numbers so far... whats their game?

I don't think it's that important that it's just theory for now - 99% of what you hear from other media outlets is pure theory as well except in the opposite direction to "Financial Planner". In fact, most of what you read in the Times, BBC etc are just bullish hypotheses (shortgage of supply, no subprime in the UK, BTL here to stay so we'll become a rentier society etc). It's all theory but the vast majority doesnt represent the bearish point of view so it's great to finally see our views represented on the national news! Finally the "crash" word is being openly mentioned.
To the OP: thanks for putting this up - you should put this on youtube as well to spread the word.

Thanks Madasafrog, and great work FP!
Interesting that this time Sky decided to put FP on camera on his own rather than with a VI or two to argue against what he said. And I can't believe that's just because Ray Boulger couldn't be arsed to get out of bed on a Sunday morning.
And fantastic to see that supply argument shot down
Walton Goggins

Excellent interview.
Will be interesting to note how this is looped through the day / evening by SKY - and if it is added to rolling NR coverage.
Would be good if something similar could be on BBC News 24 ?
The NR queues on Monday will be bigger than Saturday - the NR website will still be overloaded - so this story isn't going away yet - unless the media is told to pull it.
If they can spare the time - many estate agents without SKY will be able to watch this here.
Thanks for uploading.

Saw it; I think the interviewer thought FP was a bit of a loon to begin with but his sentiment soon changed as FP continued to calmly make reasoned arguments.
One thing though, was it just me or did someone drop something metallic half way through, there was a very audible (presumably not intentional) noise of some sort.... That or it was the collective penny of realisation dropping?
p.s. yes I did post this on the wrong thread originally

Excellent FP - you are far more polished than your earlier appearances (not that they were bad, you just come across a little less "preprepared").
Love it.
