Hi all,
Does anyone have any thoughts on land investments in Nova Scotia, Canada? I am looking at the Cape Breton area as a long term (10yrs) investment. I would be interested in anyone thoughts about the area and experiences.
Many Thanks
Paul

Not quite sure at all why you would in a million years think this falls under the category investment. It's cheap and it's beautiful and if you want to LIVE/HOLIDAY there buy it - but you're out of your tree if you think it's going to rise in value.
Why? Well even the most rudimentary research would've told you that Cape Breton is a seriously economically depressed area with very high unemployment, high alcoholism, a glut of property, it's very remote and people upping and leaving for Halifax if not further West.
But by all means, if you think your 30k farm is going to mushroom in to 250k go for it - btw, I've got some magic beans you might be interested in.
